A Wedding Fit For A Princess
Just a couple of weeks ago, my family and I were invited to a wedding ceremony between my cousin brother and his beloved wife, Karen. Knowing my cousin who is extremely over the top with whatever he does, we expected pretty much the same for his wedding. And boy, he definitely didn’t disappoint. The ceremony was held in a nearby community hall. There weren’t much excitement until the couple’s arrival which was totally unconventional but non-expected as they both arrived in a private helicopter! The couple then disembarked from the helicopter to loud roars and applauses. My cousin was in a traditional classy black suit while his bride was in a stunning, white flowing gown. As they proceeded into the hall, I couldn’t help but notice the bride’s tiara which was dazzling in the bright sunlight. I later found out it was made from swarovski rhinestones and their rhinestones certainly do not come cheap. But my cousin loves his wife dearly and I guess it was fitting he spoilt her with those swarovski crystals on such a special occasion. The rest of the morning ceremony went on with the usual exchanging of vows and wedding rings between the couple. After that, the rest of the crowd adjourned for brunch at a nearby restaurant. The wedding dinner that evening was held in a five star hotel and it was done with such grandeur. For example, the path which led to the dining room was red-carpeted and flowered with red rose petals. My cousin who was in a white suit and his newly wedded wife in an elegant faint yellowish gown was at the end of the path to welcome visitors. However, she didn’t have the tiara on anymore but was wearing a necklace made of swarovski crystal beads and I can attest that those swarovski beads were making some of the women there envious. Moving on, the dining room was also furnished with various expensive tapestries and chandeliers. As for the food, we were served some of the finest Chinese cuisines which included shark fins, abalone and birds nest. Then it was time for the newly weds to give a short speech on how they met each other before closing out the evening with the traditional wedding night dance.
